List URLs to protect
Take pages that sell, answer top questions, or receive links. For each, check HTTP code, canonical, crawlability and presence in accessible navigation. Archival errors with no commercial value should not cause a blocked category to be forgotten.
Compare sitemap and reality
The sitemap should contain the URLs you want to be indexed. A URL present in this file is not automatically indexed. Inspect a sample in Search Console and look for contradictions: `noindex` page, redirect, canonical to another URL or insufficient content.
Document corrections
For each problem, keep the page, cause, correction and validation test. Also check the page on mobile and the path to the cart or form. The technical goal is to make useful pages accessible and stable, not to get a maximum score in a tool.
