No Enquiries From Your Website? Seven Problems to Check

No Enquiries From Your Website? Seven Problems to Check
01

1. Your offer remains too vague

The first screen should answer three questions: what do you do, for which client and in which area? “Your trusted partner” does not provide any of this information. “Renovation of bathrooms in Saint-Brieuc and Côtes-d’Armor” immediately allows the visitor to find their bearings.

List the words used by your real customers during the first call. Turn them into headlines, service pages and short answers. Also specify the limits: types of projects, area, indicative deadlines and cases that you do not support. A clearer offer can reduce off-topic contact without reducing good requests.

02

2. The page does not respond to objections

A prospect rarely hesitates because of a lack of slogans. He wants to know how the service goes, when you can intervene, what he needs to prepare and what happens after his request. If the page sends all these questions to the phone, it forces the visitor to take a risk before being reassured.

Look back at ten recent exchanges and note the questions that come up. Add answers near the relevant service, not in a generic, hard-to-find FAQ. If the price depends on a diagnosis, explain what makes it vary and how the quote is established rather than avoiding the subject completely.

03

3. Your evidence does not allow us to project

A gallery of beautiful images is not enough. A useful achievement presents the need, the constraint, the solution provided and, when you can prove it, the result. For a craftsman, show the type of site and the municipality. For a service company, explain the starting point and the delivered deliverable.

Associate each proof with the corresponding service page. Ask for permission before posting a photo or testimonial and don’t make up numbers. Three well-explained cases are more reassuring than twenty vignettes without context. The page ISS Agency achievements illustrates this situational logic.

04

4. The expected action is not obvious

A “Learn More” button doesn’t say what’s going to happen. Name the action: “Describe my project”, “Request an audit” or “Check availability”. Keep one main action per page and repeat it after sections that address important objections.

On mobile, check that the button remains readable, that the number is clickable and that no banner hides the form. Test the journey yourself from Google search to the confirmation message. However, visible action does not compensate for a confusing offer: it concludes an already convincing journey.

05

5. The form asks too much, or not enough

Each field must be used for the first exchange. The name, a means of contact, the municipality and a short description are often sufficient. An attachment may be optional. Asking for a precise budget, a definitive date and a lot of technical information can discourage a person who is only starting to frame their project.

Conversely, a form limited to “name, email, message” can produce unusable requests. Adapt two or three questions to the profession. After sending, confirm receipt, indicate a realistic response time and offer a solution in case of emergency. Also test internal reception: a successful but never processed form converts nothing.

06

6. You measure clicks, not opportunities

The number of visits does not say how many projects correspond to your activity. Follow calls, forms and route requests, then simply qualify them: service requested, municipality, relevant file, appointment obtained and quote accepted. You will be able to link a page to a commercial consequence.

Compare consistent periods and take into account the season, campaigns and your availability. If a modification increases the forms but increases the requests outside the area, it has not improved the result. Start with a monthly chart before installing a complex tool.

07

7. No one quickly picks up the request

Conversion continues after sending. Set who receives the alert, who calls back, and where the status is saved. A table shared with “new”, “to be recalled”, “quote sent” and “closed” is often enough to avoid forgetting things at the start.

Prepare an honest confirmation, without making it appear that a quote has already been studied. If multiple people respond, keep the last action and next step. The article on automated request tracking details this organization.

08

Seven-day action plan

Day 1, choose an important page and rephrase its offer. Day 2, add three responses to the objections. Day 3, document an accomplishment. Day 4, simplify the main action. Day 5, test the form on the phone. Day 6, arrange follow-up. Day 7, write down your starting indicators.

Don't change the entire site at once. One page, one goal and one measurement provide a more reliable diagnosis. To get an outside perspective, request the ISS Agency audit : it will allow blocking to be prioritized instead of piling up changes.

Frequently asked questions

How many visits does it take to get a quote?

There is no ratio valid for all professions. The quality of the source, price, urgency, area and clarity of the offer change the outcome. Measure your own journey and the quality of contacts.

Should you display your prices?

Show a price or range when the information is reliable. Otherwise, explain the criteria that make up the quote and the method used to prepare it.

Is a complete overhaul necessary?

Not always. Start with the most visited page or priority service. A redesign becomes relevant when structure, technique or identity prevents targeted corrections.
