Return Policy: Make It Clear Before Checkout

Return Policy: Make It Clear Before Checkout

Answer practical questions

The customer must know when and by what means to request a return, how to return the item, who pays the costs depending on the case and when the refund is processed. Adapt the text to your products; a generic model may forget a determining exception.

Link the page to the course

Display the link from the cards, cart and order information. If the item is digital, personalized or subject to another special rule, check the applicable conditions. Don't promise "free return" if the customer sometimes bears part of the costs.

Test a folder

Take a fictitious order and follow the procedure with someone who did not write it down. Note where she hesitates, then correct the text or email. A good document reduces questions to support without erasing the consumer's rights.
