WordPress SEO Audit: Check One Priority Page Before Plugins

WordPress SEO Audit: Check One Priority Page Before Plugins

Choose the page that matters

Take an important service or category page. Check its title, its answer to the query, the links leading to it and its main action. An SEO extension score is not a substitute for reading the page and doing the intended search.

Control access and indexing

Open the URL on mobile, check its HTTP code, canonicality and status in Search Console. Compare the WordPress sitemap to the pages you actually want to show. Look for accidental `noindex` or variations created by parameters and extensions.

Fix one problem at a time

If the page responds poorly, improve the information before changing plugins. If it is blocked, correct the technical adjustment and then inspect it again. Note date, correction and expected signal; an increase in position cannot be guaranteed by the sole validation of a checklist.

If your activity also depends on research in your municipality, thelocal SEO audit of ISS Agency, another project of our group, helps to verify the offer and the Google listing.
