Looking for the Original DIY Marketing Guide Guide?
If you followed an older link to the DIY Marketing Guide ebook featured in a 2019 interview about content marketing, this page explains what happened and helps you find a relevant resource today.
The older ebook is no longer available here
The link originally led to a different product: an English marketing guide advertised as a book of more than 300 pages, covering content marketing, design and social media. This edition is not part of the current store. We do not sell or provide that book, and we do not claim that any current download is the same edition or was written by its former contributors.
The current DIY Marketing Guide store publishes a separate collection of practical ebooks. Its titles, contents, authorship and delivery are described on their own product pages. Please check the product page before buying, especially if you arrived expecting the original ebook.
If your interest is content marketing
Start with the question you need to answer. If you want to write pages and articles that people can find and act on, look at SEO Writing and Conversion. It covers writing for search and conversion. The product page lists the current contents, available language editions and delivery format.
If you need several related subjects, the Acquisition and Content Bundle groups current guides. Review its included titles before choosing it. Neither option is a replacement copy of the older book.
If you only need a free starting point, How to Update Old Blog Content Without Wasting a Rewrite walks through a practical content review. Why Your Content Marketing Strategy Is Not Working helps diagnose goals, audience, distribution and measurement before producing more content.
A useful first exercise
Choose one existing article or page. Write down the reader's question, the action you want the page to support and the evidence that the current page answers that question. Then check whether its opening, examples and next step match that purpose. If you have Search Console data, compare queries and clicks for the page over equivalent periods. If you do not, start with the questions customers actually ask and record the baseline as unknown.
Change one important weakness at a time: an unanswered question, an outdated example, a broken link or a missing next step. Record the date and inspect the published page after the change. This small exercise is more useful than buying another guide without a specific project in mind.
What this page does and does not offer
This page helps visitors from an old link find current information in the same broad subject area. It is not an archive, a reprint or a continuation of the original ebook. We have no verified access to the original download and cannot provide support for purchases made from its former publisher. For current products, use the information and support details shown on each product page.
